Dress to impress – key when you’re working in the fashion
However, I haven’t been feeling very motivated in putting together outfits for the work day as of late. As I look around and chat with my colleagues, I quickly realize I’m not the only one. It can be difficult to “work it” 9 to 5. So I went on a little hunt for inspiration and realized there is a lot out there for the working girl. One thing to always keep in mind is that corporate does NOT have to mean boring. I’m bringing a little street style to keep this work outfit inspired!
I’m in love with this J.Crew white button up shirt. They have taken a staple and added pretty rhinestones throughout. Now for those of you who know me, you know that I can’t resist a little sparkle! I’ve put this look
together with basic white trousers from H&M. These pants have leather detailing along the front pockets which I felt was a great touch. However, if jeans are a go for your office dress code, this is easily replaced with white jeans, or you can even throw on a skirt.
Okay, let’s talk about this duster waistcoat from Zara. How awesome is this? I was so thrilled when I found this piece. So you can imagine how excited I was to put a look together for you guys! I love that the duster trend has made its way back onto the fashion scene and in a big way. Honestly every girl needs one of these and they’re not hard to find what so ever. So no matter what your budget is, I’m sure you’ll be able to get your hands on one of these vests.
Styled with this outfit is the Auxiliary Bega satchel bag from Aritizia. This has been my day to day bag for the past month or so. I love the structured look it offers and the burgundy wine color is just to die for. I’ve also accessorized with the gorgeous Channing silver watch from Michael Kors. I especially love the chain-link bracelet, which had me sold on yet another watch.
Until next time! Keep up with me on Instagram ♥️
