This past weekend was nothing short of beautiful. The weather was stunning with the sun beaming down and not a drop of rain to speak of. You know I took full advantage! Honestly is there anything better than hot summer days?
With that being said my outfit may not have been the brightest idea, as I was basically head to toe in black. What was I thinking? I frankly have no excuse other than to say that I was caught off by surprise. Toronto has not been experience steady weather to say the least. We have seen so many ups and downs that every day is a mystery. I am glad that we have finally been granted some much needed sunshine. Especially as the Pan Am games started this past Friday.
So back to my outfit choice – I definitely adore this outfit but it would be better suited to a less scorching of a day. This H&M rib-knit top is such a great piece with the crossed straps at the back. There are about a million different outfits that you can style this with. I’m a supporter of basic items like this that can be worn time and time again with a verity of items currently sitting in your closet. This skirt however, may not be an everyday item for all but I think it has it’s time and place. I love the full look and feel of this skirt and almost purchased it both colors that H&M had offered. But as it does make enough of a statement in black, I opted out of buying the neon yellow(!).
These shoes – how can I even put into words the love I have for these amazing, sexy, and soft as butter shoes? Vince Camuto as really outdone all expectations I had this season. There are about a handful of shoes that I’ve already snatched up, with so many more that I just need in my life. As for the Kate Spade handbag, this really added a pop of color to my otherwise all black look.
Until next time! Keep up with me on Instagram ♥️
