I was also excited to see an abundance of white! From gorgeous flowing gowns to chic street wear, white was a major player more so than ever. If you follow my blog or instagram, I’m sure you’ve heard my challenges with wearing white along with my (somewhat) recent love of the color. So I’m looking forward to adding this color (in masses) into my upcoming wardrobe. I feel that there is a simple elegance to this shade more so than others. You can’t help but feel crisp, clean and sophisticated. Am I right?
There were a few great pops of color mixed in, from delicious shades of coral to soft pinks and vibrant blues. This being a spring show, I was actually surprised by the lack of color that was shown. Almost each collection had a color or two but the greatest prominence was on black & white.
The WMCFW was an exhilarating event to attend and I’m very delighted that I was able to attend most of the shows. It was however fairly a very exhausting experience – getting glammed up night after night is no easy task (hahah). There were definitely a few pieces that would make any girl feel like a princess. With intricate details in shimmering golds and silvers.
