As for this weekends adventures, with the amazing weather that we’ve had, most of my time was spent outdoors. We made a stop at the Taste of Danforth event that started last Friday. This is a yearly street festival celebrating the multicultural diversity in Toronto. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out this year, I suggest you keep it on your radar for next summer. There is always so much great food to enjoy and the atmosphere is exhilarating!
A few friends and I also brunched at Lavelle, a newly opened rooftop pool lounge in Toronto. First of all, the view was spectacular! It’s the place to go if you’re looking for an amazing spot to cool off and enjoy some of the finer things in life. From the beautiful pool to the lavish restaurant, I was definitely impressed and can see myself spending a lot of time on this rooftop during the summer months.
Lastly, we took Leo out on an adventure to the Distillery District. It’s always fun to walk around and take in the sites. I always forget how beautiful the Distillery District is! There are so many cute little restaurants and antique shops about. If you’re ever in the area I recommend that you check it out. Afterwords we stopped off for some ice cream at Roselle to cool off from our stroll.
Keep cool and stay hydrated!
Until next time! Keep up with me on Instagram ♥️
